In my last post, I published about the main Wim Hof Method deep breathing exercise that I am practising every day for the last nine weeks. In this article, Let me introduce a fresh Wim Hof breathing exercise called the ‘Dark brown fat activation technique’.
What is brownish fat?
Matching to Wim Hof, darkish adipose is a kind of fat tissue that produces high temperature and can help to significantly prevent and battle excess weight. Hof also talks about that brown body fat takes on an important role in retaining body’s temperature in pets or animals and humans, and interestingly, obese people have very little of it.
I also found a recent NHS article on brown fat, which states that “brown fat is found largely in newborns, who are more prone to heat loss and cannot shiver to keep themselves warm. Dark brown excess fat compensates by burning up calories to create temperature.”
The article goes on to say that as we years, we’ve less of an need for darkish fat, and for that reason, the brown fat gets substituted with white excess fat (the bad kind of unwanted fat) which causes us to put up more weight as we get older.

My own activities with brown fats and practising the Wim Hof Method
About five weeks into practising the Wim Hof method — including respiration exercises, immersing myself in cold temperatures as well as doing daily physical exercises — I had fashioned somebody readings done by a nutritionist.
